A long overdue visit
In September, we paid a long overdue visit to a most remarkable lightworker,
97-year-old Lucille McNames (Sari), still residing by herself in
Cedaredge, Colo. We spent two delightful hours conversing with this sharp and
witty lady who was once a Hollywood dancer, married to an actor who met an
early demise. She became a channel several years later and wrote, through her
Space Brother mentors, Startling Revelations (now, unfortunately, out
of print), followed by The Crystal Tower. Her later channeled New Age
novel, Wake-Up Call, is seeking the right publisher.
Lucille sent a copy of a channeling she received in the mail recently:
“There are several temples and monasteries in India and Tibet that have
records about Jesus. They called him Jesus, or the Oriental equivalent.
“When Jesus left his home country, he first went to Egypt to study seven years
the ancient Osirian religion. Then India, Benares (?) and Zahure (?) and other
places, to study Guatama Buddha. Then to a Himalayan monastery for 12 years,
to learn Mu (the Netherlands) and cosmic science. Then he became a master!
“Jesus argued with teachers regarding reincarnation. Jesus maintained that
‘only the soul of the original atoms forming his original body is
Lucille adds: “That’s it. No idea who sent it, but I believe it!”
Subscription price may go up
Alas, this is news I dread to report. There is a rumor that the US Postal
Service is increasing postage rates 6 percent across the board in 2006. This
means the price of a first-class stamp will go from 37 cents to 39 cents or
possibly even 40 cents. I have not been able to get a direct response from
postal workers I’ve talked to, except that they say postage is definitely
going up sometime in 2006.
Everything goes up... gasoline, food, living costs... everything except
our paychecks, it seems.
As a result, I must increase subscription prices or face the possibility of
going out of business. Since the latter is unthinkable, an increase is
inevitable. However, I will not increase the subscription price for US
subscribers until that postal rate increase is in effect.
When the rate does go up, the new price will be $27 for normal
subscriptions in the US. A priority option will be available for $30 to
those of you who prefer to receive your Star Beacons in a sealed
envelope. This $30 rate will also apply to Canadian subscribers who, up till
now, have enjoyed the same rate as US, even though it costs more to mail to
Canada and issues must be in envelopes.
Foreign subscription rates will increase starting Jan. 1, even if there is no
postal increase at that time. I am already compromised with foreign mailing.
The new foreign subscription rate will go from the current $32 to $36.
The single issue rate will be $2.50 (instead of the current $2.00) and back
issues $2.00 (discounts still apply for large quantities of back issues
