            Next month The Star Beacon will celebrate its 20th anniversary in print. To commemorate this special occasion, Earth Star has decided to hold a photo contest, open to all.
There will be first prizes awarded in the following categories: Best UFO, Most Intriguing, and Funniest Picture. The contest does not necessarily have to include a shot of a UFO. It can be any paranormal subject, or anything of a metaphysical nature, in keeping with the theme of The Star Beacon.
            The deadline for submitting your photo will be April 20, and winners will be announced in the May issue. The specific prizes to be awarded will be announced in next month’s newsletter.
            Photos will be returned if accompanied by a self-addressed, stamped envelope, and must be submitted as glossy prints (no slides, please) or in digital form, either on CD Rom disk or by e-mail. Please include your name, address, contact information, the date the photo was taken, the location, and the title of your photo. You may enter as many times as you like.
            It would be wise to keep a copy of the photo in your possession in the event it gets lost in transit. Photos must be original, and if previously published must include a disclosure and permission for reprint should the photo be selected.
