Going deeper into life
from the September 2007 Star Beacon
Cosmic Book Review
by Marty Ulrich (Mau)
Going Deeper: Making
Sense of Your
Life When life Makes No Sense
by Jean-Claude Koven
Prism House Press, Cathedral City, CA (2004)
No matter where you are, you are still at the surface and can
always go deeper. When I first cracked this book open, I expected to be
reading another self-help book from someone who believed they knew the answer
to one of life’s underlying mysteries.
Indeed this book was different; it was about not believing. The
story is written as fiction, because the author didn’t want to come off as
someone preaching their ways onto others. Yet the story contains some very
deep concepts about the universe and life.
It starts when Larry, a well-to-do lawyer from LA, gets a special
dog that changes his life. During the next two years, Larry notices subtle
changes in his life for the better. Then he becomes inspired to travel toward
Phoenix, Ariz. (phoenix being the keyword).
At this time, Larry begins to hear his dog speak to him
telepathically. His dog then guides them to Joshua Tree, Calif., where Larry
is exposed to beings he never thought existed. There he speaks to a raccoon, a
juniper tree, and a large rock over the next two days. These elements teach
Larry about what his life is about and about life itself. He leaves Joshua
Tree, literally, a new man.
If this is your first metaphysical book, you will most likely find
most of the concepts hard to grasp.. But if this book is for you, the law of
attraction will bring it your way. It is written for those of us who have come
from higher dimensions to assist this beloved planet into the fourth density.
However, overcome by amnesia and the veil of the third density, higher beings
must also go through the same as third-density humans, in order to wake up.
This book is not intended to make you believe anything — in fact,
just the opposite — to believe in nothing. It is intended to change your
perspective. It is definitely worth reading a second time. The book is
available in its entirety on-line at the Web site — www.goingdeeper.org. So
check it out, and you could even win a free book. Espavo.
