Well, there is
something that the government doesn't want you to know. But I have
just recently come up after watching a rather disturbing TV show
called Horizon that is shown here in the UK. It was about
super volcanoes.
These volcanoes are bigger and tend to build up differently than
normal volcanoes, and why you haven't heard of them is because no
one in living history has seen one as yet. But if you live in the
Yellowstone National Park area, I would warn you, you are sitting
on a sleeping, ticking time bomb.
Scientists have discovered something that will blow the socks off
of you. One scientist couldn't figure out why one part of the woods
was always covered in water and killing the trees. So he looked at
some old records and did a survey of the area. The last one was
done in the '40s and they thought that the figures of this modern
survey would be the same. They didn't match. The lake was being
tipped in a way that only proved one thing þ that something large
was building up under the ground and raising it.
Now the lava builds up differently than the normal way of a
volcano. This lava will, in fact, spread out under the rock and
slowly spread out and then the pressure builds up that would result
in the lava being pushed out with the gases that have built up
there, too. And in the process you will get an area that would
collapse and a big eruption. They found out that it covers a large
area of Yellowstone and when it blows it will take most of the park
up with it, and most of the surrounding area, killing thousands of
people. It will be like a nuclear bomb going off.
Now, what is even more disturbing is that the last time it went off
was 65 million years ago, and it is overdue.
It will affect the globe in a big way. Now where will it be safe?
In fact, we could suffer a big freeze, a volcanic winter. When the
volcano in the Philippines blew, the globe dropped three degrees
because of it.
But what is more disturbing is the U.S. government has failed to
warn the public that it would blow one day, or even that there is
a super volcano in the country. There are, in fact, a number of
areas around the globe that could produce one of these monsters and
they don't know where it will happen, but they are keeping a tight
eye on the one in Yellowstone. When you visit the area, remember,
you are walking on a sleeping monster and it could blow any day.
They are monitoring the signs with earthquake instruments so they
can tell when it would blow a signal and to see how big it really
is.
The program also covered another section in the human race. They
could look at a gene that the mother passes on and they found
something that was interesting. The last super eruption happened
and caused a bottle neck. The human race almost became extinct in
a big way. There were just 1,000 humans left and we all carry that
gene of the last eruption. We are all more related than you think.
We stemmed from just the 1,000 individuals.
What I have told you seems shocking and you may think that I am
just making this up to frighten you all, but I am not. What this
means is that we are not here for good. War may not kill us, but
our own planet can rip us in one day with a super volcano. It
almost happened once. It could happen again.
