BOOK REVIEW

A most romantic cup of Hot Chocolate

Review by Ann Ulrich

For the millions of people on this planet searching for their elusive soulmate, here at last is a book offering hope! Arielle Ford has emerged with the fourth book in her "Hot Chocolate" series, this time focusing on love and romance. From premonitions to chance encounters, from otherworldly matchmakers to voices you can hear only with your heart... Hot Chocolate for the Mystical Lover contains over a hundred true stories of those who have found their lifetime soulmates through divine intervention or some sort of miracle.

Arielle Ford's own story of how she found her soulmate and husband, Brian Hilliard, is told as the first story in the chapter titled "Prophetic Dreams, Visions and Premonitions." In the last chapter, "Synchronicity," this reviewer's true story of finding her soulmate is included. What an honor it is to be part of such a powerful and remarkable anthology promoting love! You can read my story, "The Two-Thousand-Mile Journey," reprinted with permission (elsewhere in the print issue).

For those looking for their soulmate, Chapter 1, "The Power of Intention," will inspire you as it consists of numerous stories of women and what they did to attract to themselves their soulmate. Through creative manifestation to making a "list," to performing a Wiccan spell, you may find a method that will work for you. The second chapter is "Love Lost and Regained," reminiscent of my novel, Night of the November Moon, only these tales actually happened.

You will read stories about "Destiny and Love at First Sight," "Soul Mates from Past Lives," "Signs, Portents and Omens," "Healing Love," "Answered Prayers and Angelic Interventions" and "Synchronicity." If you are a love addict, as I am, you will be mesmerized by the very titles of the stories, such as "Puppy Love and Purple Lilacs" by Maxine Aynes, "Crystal Time Travelers" by Diana P. Jordan, "This Time I Know It's for Real" by Mark Katz, "Mystical Bluebirds" by Donald D. Hartman, or "Love at Second Sight" by Angelina Genie Joseph. Each of the contributors' biographies are listed at the back of the book.

If you have already found your soulmate, then you will swell with gratitude to be among these lucky people, some of whom suffered many trials and tribulations along the way. And if you are -- like most people -- still searching, these stories will reach out and beckon you not to give up -- he or she is out there... somewhere... waiting for just the right moment. Rarely have I found a metaphysical book to be as much fun to read as this one!
