Spring in January
Mood:  not sure
Topic: Springtime in January
Unbelievable... temps in the 50s, sunshine that makes you want to BURST!! And I had to be cooped up inside a newspaper office all day.

A January thaw really isn't that unusual. But we had warm temperatures and RAIN just a couple of weeks ago, when Calif. was getting clobbered with snow and there was even snow in Hawaii. Go figure.

Spring Fever is about to hit our valley. I just hope the fruit trees don't catch it. Those daring apricot trees are always anxious to be the first to bud... and then the FROST comes and hits them hard.

I'm hungry for apricots this year, but I'm willing to WAIT!!!

Oh well, I'll enjoy the mild temps while we've got them, and the lovely blue skies... maybe there will be enough snow on Stevens Gulch this weekend to get out the cross-country skis for a jaunt.

Sample Chapter
Mood:  happy
Now Playing: Sudden Darkness
Now you can read a sample chapter of THE LIGHT BEING. Chapter 8, "Sudden Darkness," portrays the events that fall upon Earth when the Sun enters the Photon Belt and puts the planet into the "Null Zone."

Imagine driving along Interstate 80 on a June morning, and suddenly the sky turns a funny reddish color and within minutes everything is BLACK! Worse yet... your car dies, along with everyone else's on the road... and even flashlight batteries won't work.

What do you do?!!

Well, Blake Dobbs had an idea...

You can read the sample chapter from my NEW BOOK at https://earthstar.tripod.com/TLBChapter8.html

ENJOY!!

EFT really helps!
Mood:  caffeinated
Topic: EFT a miraculous tool
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is probably the best tool I've found to help with any kind of stress or affliction in your life.

You get IMMEDIATE RELIEF by doing the tapping and going through the ritual of the technique. The tapping is not "hocus pocus." You are stimulating acupressure points on your body (meridians) and it really does work.

I hadn't done my EFT exercises in a while... too busy... SAME OLD EXCUSE!! But I had need to use it at work yesterday, when I was feeling some major frustration and resentment.

The answer? I went into the bathroom and ran through the tapping sequence, concentrating on my "problem." When I came out of there, I had a totally different attitude and was more relaxed and ready to face the world.

Learn the technique. You will have INSTANT SUCCESS, I assure you.

I was amazed at how it has "cured" my phobia of worms. I have a few more phobias to work on... when I'm ready to let those go.

See Hannah Beaconsfield's article in this month's Star Beacon for more information.

The Light Being is forthcoming
Mood:  bright
Topic: The Light Being
Things are in FULL SWING now for publication of THE LIGHT BEING, the third episode of my Space Trilogy.

Publication will be in January 2005, and cost of the book is $14.95. (It's longer than the other two -- 300 pages!). I'm revved.

Emma O'Brian has produced some fantastic art for the front cover and things are moving along as they should.

A special discount will be available for anyone who wants to buy THE SET (all three books). A Web page will be up soon!

December Star Beacon uploaded
Mood:  bright
Topic: December Star Beacon
Understanding Orbs and Orb Starseeds is the feature of the December 2004 Star Beacon. Rachel Fischer's article coordinates well with the digital photos of orbs I have taken over the years. You can view some of these photos on the site.

Naturally, I'm fascinated with orbs. Since early 2001 they began showing up on my pictures. I tend to frown at the cop-out that they are just "dust particles" floating in the air. How can that comet-like object in the sunrise pic be a dust particle?!!

Anyway, Rachel's article made me think of our dog, Ranger, and his playful, naive, loving nature. I believe he could well be an Orb starseed! Maybe that's why Orbs tend to show up around him whenever I take pictures of the dog.

That... or he stirs up a lot of dust!

Feeling stressed with the approaching holidays
Mood:  rushed
Topic: Busy Days
With the approaching holidays, the days are FLYING by! I don't know what to do about it, except try to keep up with the waves as they sweep me further and further away from shore!

There always seems to be SO MUCH TO DO, and yet where is the time to get it done? When you're working a 40-hour week in which you can't squeeze in all of your tasks... and you've got a book coming out in a month... and a Web site to maintain, not to mention family, a household, animals to care for!

I guess I'm feeling a little stressed out. Taking a minute or two to write a blog helps get me back into focus.

What is IMPORTANT is not how much we can get accomplished in a short day's time, but HOW we live our lives! Attitude is important, too.

I trust that Spirit will give me the direction to get done that which is important. The rest... well, the work will always be there.

Blessings to you on this day!

Song of the Third Millennium
Mood:  a-ok
Topic: Blue Star's New Book
Well, it took a week or so... but I got over it. Actually, it was a GOOD Thanksgiving. Quiet, non-stressful, and DELICIOUS food. There's still some turkey left.

I want to talk about a new book that is out. It's called SONG OF THE THIRD MILLENNIUM, channeled through Celestial, and written by Blue Star the Pleiadian, a teacher of humanities on the Pleiades and a leader of the Pleiadian Guardians.

Blue Star explains in detail the myriad reasons for the birthing of the human race and the necessity of each individual to evolve at their own speed while overcoming the myths and delusions fostered upon the human race by the dark forces and their leaders, the Illuminati.

It's an EXCELLENT book! I helped them by laying out the text for publication, so read every word. Consider ordering it... it's a KEEPER!

For order info and price, contact Steve and Celest at bluestar@bluestarspeakers.com.

Holiday Blues
Mood:  sad
Topic: Thanksgiving
Looks like Thanksgiving will be an ordinary day this year. The boys aren't coming home. Marty's in California, and he might make it to Nevada to be with his grandmother and uncles and cousins. But both Ryan and Scott have to work. I don't blame them for not wanting to make that treacherous drive over the passes to eat a little turkey. I understand.

But for years I always had company, friends who had nowhere to go. It seems this year everyone has other plans. Maybe it's a blessing, though. Looking on the bright side, I don't have to clean the house for company.

I do, however, still have to cook dinner. Our dear "Precious" was butchered last weekend and weighed in at 22 lbs. 1/4 oz. We raised her just for this occasion, the dear bird. I won't have her go to waste. We'll still roast the turkey and make all the traditional side dishes. We'll just have to freeze a lot this year for future meals.

Anyone who doesn't have a place to go... and doesn't mind a messy house... is welcome to come to dinner!
