Do you look for signs in your dreams -- or in nature -- like I do?

I like to program crystals to help me remember my dreams. I send the energy from my heart into these amplifiers to enhance that ignition.

Before sleeping, I also like to use different processes reminding me that I can participate in -- and guide -- my dreams.

Before drifting off to sleep, I place myself in a protective merkaba, or angelic egg of light, and I run through this list to remind myself that I can be active in my dreams.

Do you have tools that you use to help you remember your dreams?

Here are some of my favorite tools. Remind your conscious Self to remember these before you head off to Dreamland. Look for any one of these in your dreams to assist you:

** What time is it? Look at your watch, or for a clock.

** What are you wearing on your feet? Look down and notice.

** Look up and around you. Can you notice the weather -- or clouds?

So, while looking at the clouds, say that your dreaming Self recognizes the cue. That is when we can change the course of the dream. Try it, and notice how your own experience -- and the memory of your dream -- improves.

While in nature I do the same and invite in messages. I was curious. Should I share with others that I can speak with animals and do remote healings (with the help of angels)? I headed out on a vigorous walk, shortly before dusk, in the chilly, foggy, familiar Bay Area evening air. It was welcome after the heat of the day. I asked: May I have a sign, please, Universe?

Soon, I entered a majestic, three-story-tall, eucalyptus-lined road -- a welcoming and aromatic arbor a few blocks from home. Lucky me! After a few steps, a bat flew out from those fragrant, wispy branches right over my head! Know that I have always been a bat lover -- so I was rather enamored.

This magnificent creature began flying in a figure-8 pattern. As I watched, mesmerized, this glorious winged being continued to dance above my head and in the direction I was headed, looping around and around. It was joined by another, and yet another, following each other in perfect formation! After a bit I counted them -- and there were eight bats flying in this awesome infinity pattern.

At this point, I was stopped in my tracks, in admiration of this blessing from nature. I thought, "Thank you for this sign of recognition and potentiality!"

Upon returning home, I realized what a synchronicity this had been -- as this happened on August 8th (8/8)!

This, with the "figure-8" infinity symbol, represents Infinite Love and Possibility!

Do you notice symbols and synchronicities in your day? Perhaps you notice when a clock reads 11:11 or 3:33. Isn’t this a message that you are in alignment?

Owls have always given me messages. When I moved from San Francisco to Mt. Tamalpais, just north of the city, I was driving up the mountain to interview my new potential housemate and check out the space. While I was driving Gertie -- my forest-green '68 Volkswagen bug (named after my Auntie) up the mountain, a beautiful, immense Great Horned Owl flew across my car -- almost touching my hood with its belly and brushing the windshield with its wing!

Thanks to my owl friend, gracing and blessing my pathway, the first place I looked at was a perfect match for my needs!

Still looking for reassurance about my practice as "The Animal Angel" while walking in my neighborhood, I heard swooping, nearly silent, owl wings seemingly coming out of nowhere. I looked up, only to see the daytime raptor light down on the sidewalk, right in front of me, on the pathway.

The owl looked up at me, definitely stopping me right in my tracks!
