It's Kenneth Arnold Day
Mood:  celebratory
Topic: Historical UFO sighting
It's hard to believe, but it was 58 years ago when Kenneth Arnold reported his sighting of "flying saucers" over Mount Rainier in Washington state, on June 24, 1947.

Then, just a week or so later, the crash happened near Roswell, N.M. If you'd like to know the details of that space ship crash that has been veiled in controversy ever since the gov't covered it up... get a copy of STRANDED ON EARTH, The Story of a Roswell Crash Survivor, written by one who was actually there.

Commander Sanni Ceto, born in 1958, claims to be the reincarnated Roswell crash survivor, and she has retained her earlier memories of that crash and her home world, Zeta Reticuli. Her book is fascinating and describes in detail what took place.

One's immediate reaction is to question the validity of such a story. Yet once you've met Sanni and realize how genuine she is, you can begin to understand what kind of life she has lived and she will never cease to amaze you with her knowledge, and her abilities that exceed the "norm."

STRANDED is available from Earth Star Publications. You can get it through PayPal by visiting https://earthstar.tripod.com/Stranded.html. It costs $11.97 plus $3 S&H. By special request Sanni will even autograph your copy.

As if that isn't enough... Commander Sanni Ceto is working on a second book that reveals a lot more knowledge about space, her world and the beings that inhabit the Universe. Her knowledge is extensive and she includes original artwork depicting the races and craft beyond our world.

Sanni has provided much information about the advanced technology of our comrades in space, some of which is included in various chapters of my book, THE LIGHT BEING. You get a mix of science fiction and cosmic education when you read this final segment of the Space Trilogy (which stands alone, by the way). The Light Being is available for $17.95 postpaid through PayPal at https://earthstar.tripod.com/LightBeing.html.

Clearing Clutter
Mood:  incredulous
Topic: Nonessential materials
This week has been an eye-opening experience for my siblings and me as we've cleaned out my mother's house. Due to health reasons it was necessary to move her out of state.

It has taken us four days to clear out all the clutter that has been accumulated over the many years of habitation. My mother was/is a "pack rat." She saved EVERYTHING, particularly nonessential items that just sat in some drawer or closet, probably forgotten.

I remarked to my sisters-in-law that I saw very few items that I recognized, most having been accumulated in recent years, probably picked up at junk stores and yard sales. But why??? Little dishes or trinkets appealed to my mother at the time, then were stashed away and forgotten.

It has made us realize that we clutter up our lives with unnecessary things. Each of us has vowed to now go to our own homes and begin clearing out all the junk we've stored... so OUR kids won't have to go through what we just did.

It occurred to me that the same is true with our thoughts and attitudes. How much "clutter" do we carry around in our heads on a daily basis? I've been away from home for five days now and been too busy to think about anything, really. The "busy-ness" of my everyday life is gone as I focus only on this one task at hand.

In a way that has been refreshing. My mind has been clearer and I've been able to see the overall picture. I've been able to see that people and living beings are far more important than our accumulated treasures and trash.

This week has been a very satisfying time getting to know my brothers again. We all live far apart and see each other only under rare or hurried circumstances. I have actually been able to spend TIME with them... and gotten to know them better... and they me.

Perhaps my reputation as being the "weirdo" in the family (a UFO nut) has been pushed aside and a different perspective has come through. I know that my preconceptions have been dispelled with them.

This has brought us all closer together, and we all now look forward to a reunion with our sisters as well at an upcoming family wedding in July. With all this clutter cleared away... it's going to be a joy for all.

Hitting the road
Mood:  energetic
Topic: A Week Off
It's time to hit the road and get away for a week. Vacation? Well, kinda... but not really. I'm headed for my mother's house in Nevada, but she won't be there. She's been moved to an assisted living facility out of state. Now it's time for my siblings and I to clean out the house and put it up for sale.

But a "working vacation" can be fun, too. It will be like a mini family reunion being with my three brothers and sorting through all the "stuff." I intend to visit my brother who's staying in a hotel and spending some relaxing time in the pool.

The desert in June is going to be HOT, so it should be interesting. I'll get back on Father's Day, just in time to take my Special One out for his Father's Day dinner.

Crazy Lady
Mood:  spacey
Now Playing: That Crazy Lady Down the Road by Judy Messoline
Topic: That Crazy Lady book
The UFO Watchtower in southern Colorado is world famous. Owner Judy Messoline has written a book about it called That Crazy Lady Down the Road, which includes many, many witness accounts and testimonials of UFO sightings and experiences, including some abductions.

Earth Star published the book in April, and it has photographs and illustrations in it. Judy is a terrific person, and each year hosts the San Luis Valley UFO Event. This year's event is going to be held in mid-August at the UFO Watchtower, and camping is the key. For just $20 to attend the two-day conference, plus $10 per night for camping (per person), this is one affordable conference!

And you won't believe the speakers she is having this year! Wow! You can get an idea by looking at the Upcoming Conferences on Earth Star's Conference page (go to https://earthstar.tripod.com/ESP_dir/confs.html

Hope to see you there in August. Meanwhile, you can buy one of Judy's books from us for just $20 (postpaid). Scroll down on the home page until you see CRAZY LADY...

PDF subscription rate lowered
Mood:  bright
Topic: TSB PDF now cheaper
The Star Beacon has decided to lower its PDF subscription rate from $20 a year to just $12! This is a $12 saving off the print version.

Due to the significant saving of paper and resources, this seems to be the right thing to do. I highly encourage anyone to take advantage of this offer. For one thing, the PDF version is just like looking at the print version of The Star Beacon, and sometimes you get a little more COLOR than in the print version, which runs black and white on most pages.

You also receive the PDF version in your e-mail box on the first of the month and don't have to wait for the Post Office to deliver it whenever.

Try it out! Ask for a FREE SAMPLE of May's PDF version, and see if you like it. You can also sign up for one issue at a time at $1.25 each.

Subscribing is easy. Go to the subscribe page on Earth Star's Web site at https://earthstar.tripod.com/ESP_dir/subscribe.html and follow the simple directions using PayPal.

You won't be sorry. For more information, e-mail me at earthstar@tripod.net.

Where is the enthusiasm?
Mood:  not sure
Topic: Lack of enthusiasm
I don't know about you, but for the last several days I've been experiencing a lack of enthusiasm that is uncharacteristic to my nature. For once, I am not rushed about anything, and I could really care less.

What's going on? I've heard other people mention this in passing. It's almost as if everything has come to a standstill in life, and for once I can sit here and look around and WONDER...

Most of the time I'm rushing around like a banchee trying to get everything done in the compressed timeframe I allow myself. It feels kind of nice to just relax and not worry about it.

But, on the other hand, it's not my nature and it worries me a little. I find myself trying to grasp at possible future projects, then could slap myself for even thinking of it! The stress level in my life has taken a nosedive, and I should be grateful. I need to enjoy this reprieve from being pushed and get used to it. Life is too short, after all.

Rainy Weekend
Mood:  lazy
Topic: It's Still Raining
Alas, the weekend is here and it's raining. In our office everyone was looking forward to sunshine and spring weather this weekend, and instead we got more rain. It's Earth Day down in Paonia today, and traditionally the weather is lousy for Earth Day.

Really, we ought to be so thankful for all this wonderful moisture. I am... really... but at the same time, it's getting dull having it every day when we are used to blue skies and sunshine.

My dear husband says, "Oops, it's raining. I can't patch the roof today." But when the sun comes out, then he says, "Oh good, the sun is shining, there's no need to patch the roof now."

One thing about it. I have plenty to do inside, and if the weather had been nice today, I would have felt obligated to work outdoors.

I actually don't feel like doing any work of any kind today. My brain is temporarily dysfunctional and I've found it hard to concentrate. Curling up with a good book sounds like the best idea.

Speaking of books, I've been reading Bev Dombrowski's The Pegasus Lightship: A Journey With Janus, and also started A Crack in the Great Wall, which is a great let-down (my brain doesn't allow me to remember the author's name at the moment). Pegasus, however, is a pretty good book if you are into channeling, and Bev is a wonderful person. But I'm more in the mood today for a good gothic novel or mystery/romance (my favorite genre, if you hadn't already guessed by what I like to write).

It's Mother's Day tomorrow. Perhaps the sun will shine of us mothers. I'm taking a trip to see some exciting scenery with my husband and our dog. And if it rains... I'll just sigh and thank the Creator that we are getting more much-needed precipitation.

Miracles
Mood:  incredulous
Topic: Headache cured
The other evening, I had suffered all day long with a bad headache. It was so bad I even postponed the mailing of the newsletter. Hadn't had one like that in a long time.

Anyway... around 7 p.m. I got a surprise phone call from SENTRINA of New Jersey, who has had her own health issues these past years but still retains her abilities and spirituality. I don't know how long it's been since I've spoken to this Star Sister.

She asked how things were, and I answered "Great!" After a minute she wondered why she had been directed to make the call to me, as she felt there was some "message."

At that point I remembered the headache and mentioned it. She then asked me to describe it. Before we could finish the conversation, a friend arrived at the door and we had to hang up. But Sentrina told me she would work on my headache and call me the next night.

Do you know... within 10 minutes... that headache that was so excruciating all day long simply VANISHED? I felt great all the next day and the next!

Sentrina, THANK YOU!! My prayers and healing thoughts go to you now, for I know you have many health challenges to overcome.

The Day After
Mood:  spacey
Topic: After the book signing
It was wonderful to see people turn out for the combined book signing for Commander Sanni Ceto and myself yesterday. Lots of people came through. In fact, the place was bubbling with activity and interesting conversation the entire two hours.

We munched the homemade cookies I had made (peanut butter, choco chip and ginger) and drank tea provided by bookstore owner Stephanie LaTourette, a most gracious hostess.

Sanni wore her new "Stranded on Earth" T-shirt that her "sweetie" sent her, only the graphic was printed on the back and she wore it so the UFO showed on the front. You wouldn't know except that the T-shirt had a pocket that was on her back! (typical ET mixup)

Sales weren't great, but then a lot of people had already bought their books, so we just enjoyed discussion and visiting. Commander Ceto talked to people about her life, her experiences, and what she is doing here. No one criticized her. Some were in awe!

My co-worker Laura P. won the drawing for the ET doll, so I will have the pleasure of presenting her with her prize at work today.

I am grateful for the support shown by the community and our friends by stopping in at this book signing! Thank you, everyone!!!

The Light Being can be purchased on the Web site at https://earthstar.tripod.com/LightBeing.html. Send me an e-mail and I'll autograph it personally for you.

The desert in its glory
Topic: Nevada desert vacation
We just returned from a four-day weekend trip to Nevada and the east end of Death Valley. The weather was glorious and the wildflowers were still rallying! It was such a high to climb among the hills and take photos of the beautiful life in all its colors, shapes and splendor.

I haven't downloaded my camera yet, but my brother sent his pictures and they mean that much more because we were there. I love the desert and often miss my annual treks to Why, Arizona, where we used to go. The desert is a little different there than in Nevada, but still wonderful.

We returned to the mountains, to wind and colder weather, but quite soon now Spring will burst through. The birds are already filling the morning air with their arias, and the valley bottoms are covered in green with the mountaintops frosted yet in snow. Springtime in the Rockies is a fickle time of year, but one not to be missed.
