THE WHOLE PICTURE

          The theme of this month’s issue seems to zero in on reassurance that we are not alone, nor have we been abandoned. The hoped-for appearance of Federation ships in Earth’s skies last month ended in disappointment for many, and perhaps “I told you so” tauntings from skeptics. It was a blow to those who had hoped that at last we’d have total disclosure.
          We don’t often see the whole picture, residing in this 3D existence. Just because we don’t see or hear somebody doesn’t mean they are not there. At times I forget this. A sudden melancholy falls over me at an unexpected moment, and tears are the result. I wallow in self pity and cry out in anguish for my late husband, whom I miss more than I ever knew was possible. My life seems so empty without him, yet he has not deserted me. He is there whenever I think of him and desire his nearness. I have only to remember his promise that he would stay beside me.
          The same is true of our Space Brethren. For whatever reason it was they could not meet our expectations for a precise date and location of presenting themselves for all to see, they have not gone anywhere. They continue to patrol our skies, despite their ability to cloak themselves. We have only to listen to our hearts to remember that we are part of the Great Plan.
          As light workers we can see more of the whole picture if we take into consideration that this is a process — and the process is just as important as the end results. Awareness has escalated and so has the desire in human hearts to at last be part of a galactic society as opposed to being a separate citizen of a certain country or planet or ethnic group.
          I know the day is coming, and not too far in the future, when my “normal” friends and family members will rejoice, along with me and you, because we are part of a much grander social structure and spiritual hierarchy, and we will all recognize that we have been a part of it all along.
          My Native American friend Willy Whitefeather, from Grants Pass, Oregon, wrote to me recently, saying: “Osiyo, hello ... Sending you good prayers skyward. I am sad for Blossom Goodchild, for as a storyteller I always begin with, ‘I would like to tell you a story. You can all believe it or not, for I have a problem with the word believe ... ’cause it has the word lie in the middle and it is not my intent to damage you.’
          “In this way the storyteller protects him or herself, and if the listener gets angry at the story, the storyteller simply says, ‘What are you mad about? I said don’t believe it.’
          “My advice to Blossom: Stand away. Be strong in yourself. We always look up and watch the skies, do we not?”
          And we will continue looking toward the skies, of course, because we know they are there, and I know, at least, that there is always a reason for everything. The whole picture may not be clear at first, but just knowing there is a whole picture — once you find all the pieces to the puzzle — is comfort enough for me.
