The Magic and Mystery of Healing

"Do not ask Spirit to heal the body. Ask rather that Spirit teach you the right perception of the body ... A therapist doesn’t heal, he lets the healing be."
       --
A Course in Miraclees

Q:  I am enjoying the questions and answers. I recently read about a Hawaiian therapist. It is incredibly intriguing to me.
He states that we are all responsible for everything that we see in our world. By taking full personal responsibility and then healing the wounded places within ourselves, we can literally heal ourselves and the world. His name is Dr. Len, and he healed many mentally ill patients without even seeing them, by working on himself. The process name is Ho'oponopono.
In other words, I could heal our country? Terrorist acts? Pollution? Racism? Are these things truly my creation?

A:  Most definitely, yes, they are your creation. As Dr. Len says, you are all responsible for all you see in the world. All problems are your creation. All healing is your creation. Everything you do, say or think affects all life around you, and ultimately ripples out to the entire world.
We've said many times God is all that is. Everything that exists -- humans, animals, plants, trees, even so-called "inanimate" objects, are part of God. You are part of God. Therefore, all you do literally (and powerfully) affects all that is.
When you, for example, read about someone who has killed another human -- pick any one of the many such incidents in today's world -- what is your reaction? Often it would be to judge the killer as a "bad" person. In doing that you are also judging yourself.
If, on the other hand, you extend love and kindness to, for example, a homeless person, that love and kindness extends also to you. It would behoove you to also extend that love and kindness, that healing, to the killer.
You cannot do to another without doing the same to yourself. And since you are all one, you are also doing the same to all life.
Now to get back to your question: You can heal your country, you can heal terrorists, you can heal pollution, you can heal racism. These are all your creations. You have the power to heal any illness, disease, disorder, act or whatever you perceive as evil. You created them in yourselves. You can heal them in yourselves and in others.
As Jeshua in your Bible says (we're paraphrasing here), What you do for the least of these, you do for me.

Q: I want to know if the eight-hour sleep rule is a myth or a fact, or if humans can indeed do just fine on four hours of sleep per day.

A: This isn't exactly a "spiritual" question. But then, everything related to your lives is, at its core, spiritual.
You all chose to come into physical existence and into the physical bodies you now occupy. You created your bodies, but you are not your bodies.
However, the bodies you have chosen for this lifetime are instruments you can use for whatever purposes you desire. Those purposes can be what your ego might define as "good" or "bad."
If you are reading these words, you definitely have chosen to do "good" in your life. You have chosen to help with healing your world in any way you can.
Our words here may sound irrelevant to your question, but our point is this: Your physical bodies are your "instruments" for accomplishing what you came to do in this lifetime.
So it behooves you to take the best care you can of those bodies. This includes getting enough rest or sleep.
Even though all humanity is truly one, each of your bodies is unique. So some bodies thrive on eight hours of sleep a night, others on less (or more). It's a totally individual choice. You each know what's best for you. Your inner guidance will tell you what that "best" is.
Follow that inner guidance. There are no rules here that apply to everyone. You each must decide for yourselves what fits and serves you -- eight hours of sleep, or four, or another number. There are even some among you who require no sleep.
