My backyard, which used to be an embarrassment with its overwhelming weeds and goatheads, is being transformed into a more park-like setting as I labor (joyously) at removing the unwanted annoyances. Last week my new 6-ft. tall privacy fence was installed ... and what a difference it has made! Suddenly, there is privacy on the south side and the constantly barking neighbor dogs have quieted down. Trash no longer gets blown onto my property from next door. The beautiful fence was well worth the price for peace and quietude.

It is so important in these dark times to focus on the beautiful and to enjoy those things in life that we are blessed to have. I have found that the less I worry about politics and all the things wrong in our world, the happier I am. I am not ignoring what is going on (as if it didn’t exist). In fact, I spend a lot of time in prayer and meditation, focusing on Light.

In dark times, when corruption and tyranny and madness reign, we lightworkers turn on our Beams of Light and move forward into the darkness to illuminate the way forward. We have prepared for our work throughout most of our lifetimes. Many of us have experienced disappointment, grief, rejection, scorn and life experiences in which we may have been accused of making bad decisions when, in reality, we were stepping up to the plate to do our missions.

Certain individuals have come into our lives at strategic times, to prompt us to stay on our paths in order to accomplish The Mission. Quite often, upon looking back, we realize these people probably contracted with us before we came to Earth so that we could settle old scores, or resolve karmic issues. But in many cases they came to assist us in our mission to transform the Universe.

I always thought it would be difficult to find joy in trying times such as these. But I have learned that the Law of Attraction is so much more than just a "New Age" tool.

We do create our own reality, and by focusing exactly on what we want to create ... as opposed to dwelling on media hype, lies and deception ... I feel empowered, optimistic and excited about a future of peace, love and unity.

Sometimes it’s hard to get through to people, especially those special to us. No matter how much we try to convince them to stay in the Light, they can’t help but be drawn in by images on TV and misinformation by our news media.

Listen to what your heart tells you. When you see those camera shots on TV that, in many cases, are meant to persuade you to believe what they want you to believe ... and if it goes against your "Truth Monitor" (your core belief as to whether you are being shown the truth or a falsehood) ... you need to question yourself as to what is really going on. Does it resonate or can you see through the deception?

Hopefully it won’t be too much longer before we get through all of this. The Golden Age has been promised to us, and I do believe it is coming. I also refuse to give in to fear and intimidation about high gas prices (I stay home a lot more) or rising food costs (I’m actually eating less). Fear breeds more of the same. Love and faith bring peace of mind and the knowing that we are going to come out of this.
